Well done to the North West Junior Soccer Association Representative Teams that competed in the SAJSA Country Championships over the June long weekend in Whyalla.
The Boys U12 Development, U12, U13 and Girls U13 team have done North West proud with their great sportsmanship and achievements.
Out of 6 teams 5 teams made a placing of 1st or 2nd. It was a tough weekend for the teams playing a total of 29 games over 3 days.
Both U12 Dev teams were very strong and competitive in their divisions. Unfortunately they met in the semi final. The game was tough for both sides, coming to an end with penalties for one team to move into the final.
Final played against Sunraysia with a win of 2 – 0.

U13 boys had a rocky start with the first game a draw against Port Pirie but came back to climb to equal top with a win against Fleurieu and Riverland. A loss to Adelaide Hills saw the decision come down to goal difference with North West U13 finishing in first place.
U13 girls had 3 games to get through on Saturday. It was a tough day. They faced their toughest team Adelaide Hills in their 3rd game. The girls were exhausted from the previous two games but managed to put a goal away early and every player came through to work as a team to hold the score with a win of 1-0.
The girls places 1st with Adelaide Hills runner up.
Well done to all the players, coaching staff and spectators for a great, fun filled, competitive weekend. You have all done North West and your Primary Schools proud.
